TreeTown Vittles

Treetown Vittles came to me with a need for a small website to help take their unique catering company delivering ready to cook meal kits in Ann Arbor and bring it to the web. I was responsible for the Information Architecture, Graphic Design, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and Content Management System. Using Wordpress, I was able to provide TreeTown Vittles with a fully functional Blog and ecommerce Platform.

Enspire Dental

Another fun project, in which I was contracted out by QLTD. Enspire Dental needed a website for their Ann Arbor Based Comprehensive Dentistry Office. They chose Q as their web firm and I was lucky to be a part of this exceptional design. I was responsible for XHTML, and CSS templates.

Ann Taylor LOFT

The Website Redesigns for Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor LOFT, were my my two main projects while contracting at Fry, one of the leading web development firms for eCommerce software, based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. My responsiblities on both of these websites were to assist the lead Front-end developer, in product of all the XHTML, CSS, and small amounts of Javascript. These were also the first sites I developed under a huge Java based framework, where I learned a lot while working with a huge team of software engineers, project managers, and graphic designers.

Ann Arbor Board of Realtors

The Ann Arbor Board of Realtors were looking for a redesign to their current site. They found Inner Circle Media to be the right fit for them and their mission. Luckily I was around and the people at Inner Cirlce wanted me to work on this cool project, which includes a flexible based design and a custom content management system all on Ruby on Rails. Of couse my responsibilities were the XHTML/CSS and Javascript for the front-end. This was a great project for me to work on simply because it was the first professional project that I got the designers to agree to a flexible layout. This makes it possible for users from 800 - 1200 screen resolutions to view the site as it is intended with no scroll bars or layout breaking.

University Of Michigan Life Sciences Institute

The Institute is a hub for collaboration among outstanding scientists from a variety of life science disciplines focusing on the biological problems of human health, including 25 faculty-led teams spanning 13 departments and three schools and colleges of the U-M. Contracted through QLTD, I was responsible for the production of the XHTML/CSS templates. After I completed the templates I handed them over to the Q team which implemented a Drupal CMS. The CMS takes away a bit of the semantic streamlined code that was used for the templates by adding unecessary div containers and other tags or elements inserted from the CMS. I also helped a bit through out the process when the developement team ran into CSS and XHTML issues caused by the Drupal Implementation.

The Chenille Sisters

The Chenille Sisters are a music group that have been criss-crossing the map, amassing tens of thousand of fans young and old, since the mid 80's. They are based out Ann Arbor Michigan and I got the chance to work on the redesign of their current site. Working with Andrea Cardinal who brought the groups character and personality to life with her unique design. I got the chance to develope this site from start to finish. It gave me the chance to utilize many of the techniques that I have learned recently, such as a cool new PHP templating system using XML to pull the navigation, Titles and anyting else I want dynamically. The site is constructed using a very semantic and streamlined XHTML/CSS layout and has some great Javascript functionality to display the groups records and track listings.

Jenn Air

Jenn-Air® is one of the Whirlpool family of brands and offers a complete line of built-in kitchen appliances including refrigerators, dishwashers, wall ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwave ovens, and Entertaining Essentials. While as a contract employee at Fry Inc., the Jenn Air redesign was the last project that I was a part of but the first one which I was the lead Producer. I was responsible for all of the XHTML/CSS, Javascript, and the creation of templates inside of the JAVA based enviroment and content management system.

Eleni Speaks

A site for a local motivational speaker Eleni Kelakos. Eleni wanted this site to disband and absorb the content of two other websites (Eleni's music site, and the site for her Tallest Poppy motivational programming for young people). This site is a reflection of Eleni in all her facets as a charismatic and colorful keynote speaker. My responsibilities were for the XHTML/CSS Templates. Inner Circle Media did all of the planning,design, and PHP implementation. I came back into the project to finish up for the launch and create the blog.

SIGGRAPH 2006 Conference

Held by ACM SIGGRAPH siggraph.org, the International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques is held every year. Working with QLTD qltd.com, who is responsible for the conferences Branding, Website, and Print materials, I had the chance to have the main role as Lead Front-end Developer to produce the site from Mockup to Launch. The site is made up of XHTML/CSS and uses PHP for the templates.

The New Renaissance

A leading provider of chiropractic coaching and practice development services, The New Renaissance site serves as an intrinsic tool by driving business development, and expanding in functionality and offerings as The New Renaissance transforms and grows. Working with Inner Circle Media innercirclemedia.com, I was responsible to take their mockups and bring them to life on the web using XHTML,CSS, and Javascript to produce the home page and two sub page templates.

Behind Barres

Behind Barres - Classical Music For Ballet Class is a unique series of CD recordings of music for ballet class created by master clinician Judy Rice and renowned pianist Paul Lewis. Behind Barres existing site was in need of a serious redesign to visually represent their products,and aid the ease of use functionally. Working with my associate Dan Klyn we developed a new and improved place for Behind Barres to tell their story and sell their products.

Saint Joseph Academy

Working with Inner Circle Media innercirclemedia.com, we created a great new site for a school that since 1896 have been educating the heart as well as the mind of children in Lenawee County. My responsibilities were to produce the home page, and two sub page templates from the Graphical mockups provided using the latest XTHML, CSS, and Javascript technologies. Once templates were completed, I handed it over for Inner Circle to implement the backend and content integration

Engineering at University of Michigan

Working with Inner Circle Media innercirclemedia.com and with Solid State Engineering Laboratory (SSEL), the Michigan Nanofabrication Facility (MNF), and the National Nanofabrication Infrastructure Network (NNIN) to build a portal and three sitelets. My responsibilities were to produce the main Portal site and the three sitelet templates using XHTML, CSS, and Javascript. While the three sitelets have a similar look and feel, each is defined as a distinct entity.
